Book Club Updates for 2016

urlThere are now three different book clubs meeting at the library monthly, offering lots of choice to readers!

First Monday Classics | Monday, January 4, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
This club meets on the first Monday of each month. Join local authors, including Nathan Kotecki,  James Maxey, and Samantha Bryant for an open discussion of If on a Winter’s Night a Traveler by Italo Calvino. Whether you are new to the work, read it in high school and would like to take a fresh look, or can quote passages from memory, this discussion is for you!

We’ll be posting a roundup of all upcoming selections for this book club shortly.

Evening Book Club | Tuesday, January 12, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
We are always welcoming new members! This month, we will discuss The Wright Brothers by David McCullough.  The Evening Book Club meets on the second Tuesday of the month at the library. Book club meetings are open to all.

Genre Book Club | Wednesday, January 20, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
***New Book Club***  Are you interested in discovering a new genre? Want to try science fiction or romance, but don’t know where to begin? This librarian-led book club will give readers a chance to discover new authors and areas of reading interest. We will decide on our first genre at this meeting, so come with ideas!
